Last weekend, our hairdressers visited the temple of hairdressing in London, Salon International. The biggest trade show for professionals in the hairdressing industry, it’s the best place to get their creative juices flowing. Here’s what they experienced and found interesting and inspiring.
Salon International London takes place once a year in London, and we couldn’t get more excited about it. We can see innovations and new product launches first hand, try and compare products and equipment, get shopping, make new contacts, and get inspired by our hairdressing heroes.
This year, we were particularly looking forward to seeing Errol Douglas, renowned for his stunning photographic, session, and event work, and New Zealand born Patrick Cameron who is world-famous in the craft of dressing long hair and creating magical yet simple up-dos.
Abby went to see Tony & Guy’s artistic team, Thomas got inspired by Tracey Devine’s creations and purchased a few essential tools of the trade, Balazs was blown away by the brilliant scissor makers Kasho, and loved hairdresser legend Errol Douglas working on some brilliant afro styles. Tunde spent some time around the Babyliss stage where she learned some tricks in hair styling, curling, and finishing.
